Apr 22,  · Peace Sells But Who's Buying? is a barreling assault of thrash 'n' burn riffs from Dave "Grumpy Smurf" Mustaine and co., and while the 'deth squad weren't yet able to scale the heights reached by their leader's old band, there's plenty here to chew on. Constantly shifting tempos, grinding guitars, and fluidly screaming leads are all over Peace Sells, almost reaching ADD addled heights of /5(). Apr 21,  · Sounds great. Dead quiet and dynamic. DR12 dB dB Wake Up Dead DR13 dB dB The Conjuring/5(3K). The line "peace sells!" meaning any country can have peace.. "but who's buying?" meaning no one wants peace, perhaps they just say they do. 2) Another theory is that a government tells it's country they are at peace ["peace sells"], but you can clearly see that they are not, maybe due to a . Peace Sells, But Who's Buying is a masterpiece of metal. One of the best metal records ever. Since most people already know this, I'll be reviewing the 25th Anniversary Edition, and not the music/5(66). Peace Sells But Who's Buyin? 20 likes. Tune in Monday nights from every week for the best metal you won't hear anywhere disbetesrepogef.chiofootingquadriparposonordlinklimo.infoinfoers: Arguably Megadeth's strongest effort and a classic of early thrash, Peace Sells combines a punkish political awareness with a dark, threatening, typically heavy metal world-view, preoccupied with evil, the occult, and the like. The anthemic title track and "Wake Up Dead" are the two major standouts, and there is also a cover of Willie Dixon's "I Ain't Superstitious," which takes on an air of 9/ During "Peace Sells" I could hear some heavy gating on the guitar tracks. At the same time, these are very trivial discrepancies and I must say that the drums and the bass have a much fuller, present, and punchier sound, while the guitars got an upgrade as well with a much more dynamic sound/5(). When you release albums such as Killing is my Business, Peace Sells But Who's Buying, and Rust in Peace, it isn't quite hard to achieve those lofty heights. But Megadeth did, and was readily grouped with fellow thrash stars Metallica, Slayer, and Anthrax in a group known as the Big Four of Thrash. had three of the four Thrash juggernauts /5. It's actually very fun because of it's low gain and loads of power. Peace sells is the metal sound all by it's self cranked with no overdrive. If you have one try it sometime. It's a pretty big powerful sound.

General CommentGuys, the meaning of this song is pretty straightforward. Even the title and ending lyrics "Peace sells, but who's buying?" can be an interpretation of the entire song. PEACE SELLS - Capitalism (Democracy, the USA Government) sells Peace, BUT WHO'S BUYING? - The POOR and middle class are the one's buying what the rich is selling.

Peace Sells but Who's Buying? is the second studio album by the American heavy metal band Megadeth. It was released in November Originally, the project was handled by Combat Records, and this resulted in the first mix of the album. Eventually Capitol Records bought the rights to the album and a producer was hired to mix it himself. It was remixed and remastered in by Dave Label: Capitol.

Sep 18,  · I honestly think the original version of Peace Sells is the best way to go for this awesome album. The drums and bass in the version were completely butchered, same goes for the Rust In Peace remaster. The drums on the old CDs have thunder-like impact, while on the remix they are too clicky and digital sounding for my taste.

Peace Sells But Who's Buyin Peace Sells, Devils' Island, Good mourning, I Ain't Superstitious especially caught my attention. Peace Sells is pretty much an unrelenting brutality of a thrash song. Good mourning is a little slower, but for good reason, although the solo was impressive and I loved it. /5().
